During this COVID-19 crisis, while Americans have been advised to stay at home and practice social distancing, restaurants and small businesses are facing a crisis of their own.
While Cozy Cafe is not yet open to the public, we want to remind everyone what a vital part of our community local businesses are. Local businesses and restaurants make up the flavor of a community and become a distinct part of day to day lives.
We can all continue to support our neighborhood cafes and restaurants by participating in the #GreatAmericanTakeout and ordering food to-go from local establishments!
Every Tuesday throughout this situation, we can make an effort as a community to order to-go from the places we regularly visited in person. Or you can see this as an opportunity to try somewhere new!
Many restaurants are eagerly participating in this initiative and offering online orders, curbside pickup, and drive through service to bring you the food you crave while honoring America's commitment to social distancing and safety.
Remember, we all want our favorite businesses to still be in operation when the world returns to "normal", and this is a fun and easy way to help that happen.
This Tuesday, if you are able, make an effort to support a local restaurant and score an amazing meal in the process! It's a win-win situation!
