When opening a brand new, locally-owned coffee shop, we realize there's an elephant in the room: competition! Any small cafe is competing against gigantic global companies (one in particular....) with well-established brands and loyal customers.
So why should a customer choose a small, independent business over a beloved chain?
While we always support #ShoppingLocal and supporting small businesses in principle, at Cozy Cafe, we are working to set ourselves apart from the competition and create a fun and unique experience that makes our shop the place to go!
For starters, one thing that sets us apart is variety! While we will always have menu staples that you can order everyday (standard coffee beverages like your faithful Americanos, mochas, and lattes), we will have a rotating menu of food and beverages available on different days, so every time you make an order at Cozy Cafe, it will be an exciting new experience! We are currently experimenting with fun new recipes to test at our grand opening! Variety is the spice of life, and we value creativity in our cafe staff!
Next, the overall atmosphere and vibe of Cozy Cafe is different. You won't find a dark color palette and elevator music here. Our shop is colorful and eclectic, with plenty of places to sit and chat, work, or relax. Additionally, our cafe provides ample reading material and games to keep you entertained while you sip and snack.
Finally, our local business supports other local artists and retailers. Instead of hawking corporate wares at the counter, we provide an outlet for artists and craftsmen to sell their creations in our shop. So while visiting our cafe, you can browse products made by people in your community and discover something new that you love.
